The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is a No Dues, "Family Oriented Club"
and does require some attendance to Meetings or Rides. Lack of
Communications and Participation in a 90 day period may lead to
revocation of Membership at the discretion of the Chapter First Officer.
The Southern Cruisers is not an Internet Club for Motorcycle
enthusiasts.
The purpose of the
change has legal reasons, but the main goal is to make sure our rosters
reflect members who intend
to be active riders. It leaves ultimate discretion to the 1st
Officer to make the determination based on individual circumstances.
I still want to keep
this basically a “No Commitment” club, but I want to make sure members
on my roster intend to ride with us at some point. I am only asking
that if members can’t ride, they at least make contact with me twice a
year letting me know that they wish to remain a member and intend to
ride when time permits.
I ask all of you try
to ride or attend a meeting at least once in a six month time period.
If you cannot then at least reply to one of my e-mails occasionally to
let me know you haven’t sold your bike and are still interested in the
SCRC.
